I was a friend of Mrs. Hergesell's daughter and I have such fond memories of going to spend the night with her daughter and Mrs. Hergesell would always have something special for us to cook or eat. I had collected Dispatch Food Pages for years from these two ladies. And I have a couple favorites that Mrs. Hergesell taught us when we were in Jr. High school. We had such fun laugingand having a good time. I miss her and her daughter also now. I am now at the age when Mrs. Hergesell passed and Karen passed several years ago too. i wish I had more of her recipes....I even wrote her after she retired to ask if she might have a couple I wanted. Sweet family!
